Requirements for this position
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience doing accounting services work with a CPA firm
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities highly desired
- Self-motivated, driven individual that can work independently but is also a team player
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
License:
- CPA (or actively working toward certification)
A Day in the Life of an Experienced Staff Accountant:
- Candidate will be joining a growing accounting services team – working with small business clients in the office and in the field. You may be responsible for everything from paying client bills and recording activity after-the-fact to financial statement preparation and tax return preparation.
- Financial statement preparation
- Accounts payable
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities highly desired

- Prepare tax returns and provide tax planning services
- Meet productivity and efficiency standards
