Senior Accountant - Lebanon Office

Requirements for this Position:

Experience:

  • Strong accounting skills including financial statement preparation, maintaining cash and accrual basis general ledgers
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience doing accounting services
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Experience with Sage Intacct preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.

License:

  • CPA preferred, not required.

A day in the life of a Senior Accountant:

  • Responsible for reconciliations for all general ledger accounts 
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintain account balances and bank statements
  • Establishes procedures and maintains bank account reconciliation
  • Completing end of month accounting reports as assigned, such as monthly sales and use tax returns
  • Assisting in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and within established timelines
  • Manage accounting staff
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
