Senior Accountant - Lebanon Office

Requirements for this Position:
Experience:
- Strong accounting skills including financial statement preparation, maintaining cash and accrual basis general ledgers
- A minimum of 3 years' experience doing accounting services
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Experience with Sage Intacct preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
License:
- CPA preferred, not required.
A day in the life of a Senior Accountant:
- Responsible for reconciliations for all general ledger accounts
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain account balances and bank statements
- Establishes procedures and maintains bank account reconciliation
- Completing end of month accounting reports as assigned, such as monthly sales and use tax returns
- Assisting in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and within established timelines
- Manage accounting staff
Qualifications:
